Savannah, Georgia, April 2014 – Antioch Foot & Ankle Group continues its commitment to give back to Savannah and the low country. In April, Antioch partnered with Memorial Health, who recently organized an Amputee Support Group in conjunction with The Amputee Coalition of America and many peers in the community.
April was Amputee Awareness Month; however, Antioch plans to continue to post information about Lowcountry Amputees Motivating People (LAMP) in the office. Antioch will also continue to donate shoes to Amputees from its Soul to Sol Shoe Store. The shoe store specializes in diabetic shoes and donated dress shoes, casual, work and athletic shoes to Memorial for the amputees. Memorial is providing education and support to amputees in order to promote healing and recovery and to maximize quality of life.
Antioch joins Memorial in that effort by donating shoes and by publicizing and promoting the organization. For more information about LAMP contact Bob Tuten at firstname.lastname@example.org or Brandy Williams at email@example.com. If you are diabetic or in need of specialized foot care, let the Foot and Ankle Specialist at Antioch, Dr. Kristian Jeffress, and the Antioch Team be a “Blessing To Your Feet”. Antioch Foot & Ankle Group is located at 9104 Middleground Road, Suite 2, Savannah, GA. Call the office at 912-927-8011 and visit their website at www.antiochfootandankle.com.
