Savannah, Georgia, December 19, 2016 – The Waiting Room at Antioch Foot & Ankle Group was transformed with Christmas decorations, Holiday Cheer and a table full of hors d’oeuvres. Members of the Urban Savannah Chamber of Commerce filled the room and took the opportunity to meet new members and share information about their respective businesses. In the room were accountants, podiatrists from Antioch, bakers, restaurant and club owners, authors, poets, real estate professionals, nonprofit organizations, graphic artists, media communication consultants, hospital representatives and more.
The Urban Savannah Chamber focuses on empowering African American professionals, entrepreneurs, and the community at large in the Savannah Metro and throughout the Coastal Empire. Through the power of strategic networking, workshops & seminars, targeted marketing, and engaging events, the Urban Chamber empowers the black community to emerge to the next level. The Meet & Greet met its goal.
Antioch’s Director of Marketing, Jacqueline Tomlin, welcomed the group to Antioch Foot & Ankle Group and introduced the group to Antioch’s Founder and CEO, Dr. J. Alphonso Dandy. Dr. Dandy commended John Voner and the group for coming together as small businesses and challenged them to put God first in everything and watch their businesses flourish. He told them to stay tuned for the Grand Opening of Dandy Youth Development, his nonprofit organization formed to help young African American boys to become leaders in our community.
The Urban Chamber encourages the community to support African American owned businesses. Let us join them.
