Savannah, Georgia, March 2016 – Antioch Foot & Ankle Group continues its commitment to enhance the health and wellness of Savannah and the Low Country Empire. In partnership with Memorial Health, Antioch conducted foot checks on patrons of the Southern Women’s Show at the Savannah Trade Center this year. They also talked with patrons about foot conditions and provided educational information about diabetes. Antioch has a monthly session called Talkin “Sugar” with Dandy, where the CEO of Antioch, Dr. J. Alphonso Dandy, who is diabetic, invites guest from the medical community to talk about diabetes. Anyone is welcome to attend by just calling the office and registering. Recently Antioch has taken Talkin Sugar with Dandy on the road.
Jacqueline Tomlin, Director of Marketing for Antioch, at the invitation of Reverend Ricardo Manuel, spoke to his congregation after Bible Study about diabetes. She talked about diet and exercise and how to live with diabetes. He was so impressed that he invited her back to speak, after Sunday Service, to the entire congregation. This is Antioch’s way of giving back to the community. Talkin “Sugar” with Dandy is a Free Service of Antioch. Call 912-927- 8011and schedule Talkin “Sugar” with Dandy at your church or organization.
